Hi I am Sadi. I've signed up and am
Logged in but when I go to the venting forum it tells me.., sorry only users have access..., so what have I done wrong? Also..., Stacey..., you should try adding a chat room to this site. It's nice to be able to post things..., but sometimes people might be lonely and want to chit chat with someone else Smile.... Just a thought.

Hi Sadi

Thanks for your feedback. I'm going to look at the venting room as soon as possible to resolve this issue.
In terms of a chat room, we really want to add this feature, but for people's safety we need to work out a way we can have a forum that will block and sensor any worrying things that could be classed as triggers which I'm sure you can appreciate is difficult.

If we can provide a safe and happy chat room for simply fun chat, we will do what we can.

Hi Stacey..., yeah..., I totally thought of that once I sent this message. Perhaps you could have admin present when chatting are going...? Maybe even make a rule that you cannot talk about past abuse so as to not be a trigger to others. It would be difficult for a chat room
To happen as DID says that it's possible to switch and not have executive control at any triggers moment. I work with several clients who have DID and I can see how they'd like to talk about an emotional feeling which could be a trigger for and to others. I look forward to helping you get this forum up and going and getting to know others in our position.

Hi Sadi
Yes that might be something to look into. As long as it can be moderated by carers or those who understand, an optional chat could work. I'll look into it more and see what we can do.
